Edward was Clinical Director and founder of CheshirePet in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. He qualified as a small animal vet from Bristol University in 1992 and worked in mixed and small animal practice before founding CheshirePet in 1998. After selling the practice in 2012, Edward remained as Clinical Director, focusing on client care and general surgery, including laparoscopy.
Elected to the Clinical Board in 2016, Edward contributed to the Welfare sub-committee, addressing issues such as the illegal puppy trade and collaborating with breeders. He also supported other Clinical Directors as part of a support group.
Edward retired in 2023, and at home he shares his life with two English Springer Spaniels, Archie and Tilly, three cats, and his three teenage daughters. He enjoys cycling and running, including completing the London Marathon in 2017.
