I cannot thank the team at Vets Now in Glasgow enough for the incredible care they gave my 1 year old cat, Artemis, during a very stressful late-night visit last night. She had been unwell for a while, and when I noticed what looked like a blue tint at the back of her tongue, I feared the worst and phoned. From the moment I called, the nurse I spoke to — Emma — was calm, kind, and quick to act. She brought us in straight away, understanding it could be something serious. When we arrived, Artemis was taken in for triage immediately (literally), and within about 10 minutes they had identified and removed the culprit: a thin piece of green plastic poo bag (that I use emptying their boxes) somehow wrapped around the back of her tongue, somehow perfectly mimicking cyanosis. As soon as it was out, Artemis was instantly more herself, and I was overwhelmed with relief (and the realisation I need to be more careful around the house, thank god this went the way it did). Emma was truly WONDERFUL throughout — compassionate, professional, and genuinely happy for us when she delivered the good news. You could tell how much she cared, and it made such a difference in a moment of high anxiety. They handled everything so efficiently and kindly, and at no point did I feel like just another case (or too much of an idiot). They even managed to lift the added stress of financial worry, which is incredibly rare and appreciated more than I can say. I’ve had really difficult experiences with emergency vets in the past, but this was the complete opposite — it was a genuinely positive and reassuring experience from start to finish. Thank you again to Emma and the whole team for your amazing care and compassion. You made all the difference and last night we left on a high of relief with our wee girl. Bonus photos of Artemis, looking very beautiful and cuddling her brother and definitely not like an absolute rascal that likes to fight with bin bags :)

Our 2 year old lab Mabel was referred here after suffering a stick related injury whilst we were on holiday on the Argyll peninsula. I had to drive a long way to bring her for treatment and was warmly welcomed by the front of house team on arrival. Mabel was given a very high standard of care and treatment and communication with me was clear, compassionate and timely. Following investigation she has had minor surgery and has now been discharged and should make a full recovery. Thank you very much for your dedication and service 💜

Although I took my cat Trixie here in an emergency, I can honestly say everyone that worked here were amazing (big thanks to Robin who specifically was dealing with her and us) She unfortunately didn't make it but I know the team tried their best to get us answers and treat her with kindness and respect at the end of her life. I'll forever be grateful for that as she was my best friend. They sent me a lovely card with her pawprints and some of her fur to remember her by and they also dealt with the cremation side of things so I didn't have to make any more difficult calls. Many thanks from the Lowe family 🖤

Incredible care provided to our pup when she was very unwell with pneumonia and gastroenteritis. Our local vet is brilliant and did her best but had exhausted all the investigations and treatment available to her and so we were transferred to Vets Now in Glasgow. We had absolutely fantastic care from the second we arrived, brilliant communication and management and we're so happy with the treatment given. Would highly recommend to others and should we ever need higher level care we would not hesitate to use Vets Now again.

Not only did the staff provide a very good service for our poor wee dog, they were very keen to keep us up to date on what they were doing and why. A very professional approach that fully appreciates the stress and worry that pet owners go through. Highly recommended and Belle sends her regards!
