Staff handled the emergency visit for my dog who had eaten some toxins on a walk (most likely hard drugs). It was incredibly severe as she couldn’t walk and had a seizure while we were there. The staff were calm and kept us informed about what they were doing for her. Yes, it cost a small fortune but this what they are there for - they are the A&E for pets. I am so grateful to the staff who were there on Monday night and that we have this service available. Photo is of her the next morning.

Great service. Welcoming team. Calming. Informative. Made me a cup of tea! Couldn't fault the quick response and amazing staff. My only issue was the cost; its so expensive, especially for those of us without insurance, but for the love of your pet where immediate or out of hours care is required, you are tied. Not just this vet I am sure, but does feel unfair. But again to reiterate the service was fast and staff were kind and attentive.

We took our dog Jack for an emergency appointment out of hours. The staff we met were so kind and helpful. It was reassuring to us when we had to leave him there as they obviously cared very much for his comfort. The staff went above and beyond. Thank you so much, The Rusk family

My dogs have been with the Wheelhouse in Chesham for many years and I have always been impressed with the care the surgery took with them.Recently my Golden Retriever suffered a serious bout of vomiting and diarrhoea and was very ill.I cannot fault the care and treatment and the compassion with which it was given; I thought that we were going to lose her but the Wheelhouse vets pulled out all the stops and she is, happily, well on the way to full recovery. At all times I was consulted about her treatment and given regular updates on her progress. I could not have asked for more for her.
