We needed out of hours vet services for one of our cats and the process was simple and straightforward and everything was explained to us. The operator was calm and caring and we were booked in at the nearest vets just 20 minutes away. The vets were ready for us on our arrival and we were seen immediately.All the procedures were explained to us by the vet and we left our cat overnight. We were updated the next morning on her condition and discussed the next steps of possible treatment. Vets Now liaised with our vets and together arranged a referral to a veterinary centre for more in depth tests. They looked after her all weekend and all the staff were caring and discussed everything with us. All the records were sent to the referral centre for an assessment. Although the service is not cheap, you have to understand this was out of hours emergency care and has to be costed accordingly. Our cat is a member of our family and deserves the best care we can give her and Vets Now gave her the required care and treatment giving us peace of mind. Without their assistance, I'm not sure we could have cared for our pet over the weekend and the worst may have happened. I'd certainly not hesitate to call again if we needed out of hours emergency care for one of our pets.

Would definitely recommend Vets Now Chesterfield. My 19 week puppy was quite sick at the weekend and we were sent here. Absolutely excellent service, the staff were amazing and so kind and considerate. “Mabel” had to stay in for the day for an IV drip and we fetched her out in the evening. All’s well now. Thank you.

I was very happy with this vet in an emergency after my new puppy got his paw trapped in the door so helpful on the phone and gave me directions and information how to get to them every thing was fine I was in such a state panicking I can really recommend them .

Unfortunately my cat had became very unwell on Christmas day. I knew what was needed to be done and was desperate to have him seen as soon as possible to help him not suffer. Thank God Vets Now in Clay Cross was open even on Christmas day which took me by surprise. I was so grateful for the compassion of the Doctor and her helpers and just knowing we all came to right decision to let him rest. Many many thanks 🙏🙏

These vets are always really helpful especially when it’s out of hours and your distressed bringing in your pet. The only gripe is the fees they’re just unaffordable I was there 10 mins and it’s cost over £400. For me regardless of wages etc it’s just not justified. That said very happy with the staff and get we saw
