What pet owners say
We were referred to Vale vets back in May for our dog Ruby. Things escalated very quickly & soon became an extremely worrying time for us. Everyone was wonderful & reassured us that Ruby was in the best place possible It transpired that we were dealing with several issues, but all the specialists involved showed compassion throughout. Thankyou to each & everyone of you, you truly are amazing people x

Our British Shorthair, Vince, was referred to Vales after suspected leg perthes leaving him limping and in a lot of pain. Dr Dave had us in for a referral appointment, and was able to operate the same day on our precious boy. Dr Dave was very informative, kind and reassuring and performed an amazing surgery. Vince stayed overnight after his op and was very well cared for. He came home feeling a little sorry for himself, but has gone on to make a fantastic recovery with the neatest scar I’ve ever seen - he’s back to the cheeky monkey cat he was before his illness. The reception staff were polite, welcoming, and always very helpful, both in person and on the phone. We’re really pleased with Vince’s recovery and want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Vales who have helped our little 2 year old kitty get his mojo back.

Amazing service from Vale Vets. Our young dog (Enfys) was here after ingesting a huge overdose of Metacam whilst been looked after by our dog sitter when we were on holiday in Cyprus. She was her for 7 days as a in patient. Phil from Vale was incredible, he kept us informed and did everything he could for Enfys. We didn’t think she would survive but with the fantastic care from all the team, Enfys is still with us. We just can’t thank the team enough, not just for Enfys’ care but for the care and consideration they gave us too. Thank you to all the team and we would highly recommend.

My Labrador, Rosie, was referred by our vet in Cheltenham to have a scan on her heart. Having passed her details to Vale ahead of her appointment, we were received and registered in a very reassuring way and were probably in for our appointment slightly ahead of time. The vet and nurse could not have been more reassuring, but took time to clarify her background (including treatment abroad). The process was explained and Rosie went off very happily and I was given directions as to where I could spend time during the intervening period . I was called back, pretty much to the minute, and was given a thorough debrief as to what had been discovered and the steps to be taken. I found Vale Referrals to be utterly professional (as expected) but also really empathetic and, quite simply, kind, from the receptionists to the vet and veterinary nurse. Thank you !

Our pug had to have an eye lid operation to protect her remaining eye after loosing the other ,and the vet at vale has been polite confident and successful plus the dog is back to being a nuisance. The staff there are also polite and efficient.
