I had adopted a beautiful stray cat 🐈 near to where I lived in the West Midlands she was living under a bush, then I was moving to Wales to be with my daughter and her husband. After an extensive search to find her owners and cats protection and others but they were all full. So I brought her to wales with me..she has stated to develop some heath issues. My daughter and I took her to summerwood vets in Blackwood where she is being treated now. I can't thank the staff and the lovey lady vet enough who are looking to make Bonny better again. I have been registered here for many years, the care i received with my beautiful maizy was fantastic, every single member of staff have time and care for your feelings unfortunately we lost maizy and they were amazing with us at such a difficult time, we have now got a new puppy called Ruby and I wouldn't go anywhere else, thank you to the amazing team, and for coping with me when I was at my lowest, I highly recommend and trust them with my fur baby

I highly recommend Summerwood Veterinary Surgery. The receptionist was lovely and managed to fit us in at short notice. William Easson is a fantastic vet — I felt my rabbit was genuinely well cared for, and that we were properly listened to. It’s rare to find a veterinary practice so accommodating and knowledgeable about rabbits, so I’d strongly recommend them to any rabbit owners. Thank you so much. 🐰

Last week I had to bring my 9 month old Labrador Reggie into summerwood as I couldn’t find a remote control battery and was worried he ate it. Summerwood were amazing, the receptionist told us to attend right away and we were speaking to a vet within 5 minutes. Unfortunately I did not get her name but she was amazing, clear about the cost, provided good advice and explained next steps. Reggie had recently ate so needed to be kept for a while to prevent issues with the sedation and ultrasound. The vet/man that dealt with the ultrasound (again didn’t get his name sadly) called me promptly and explained everything in layman terms and was very very helpful as I explained I was a first time dog owner. I was very impressed once I got my Reggie back with how helpful the receptionist was. Summerwood handled everything regarding our claim with our insurance, we didn’t even need to contact them! They are fantastic I’m so grateful that our boy is with Summerwood, they truly care about their patients. I wouldn’t trust anywhere else!
