What pet owners say
Whilst on holiday in Aviemore, our adopted disabled Dachshund Tarsha developed early signs of a UTI. As UTIs and disabled dogs can be tricky to manage and treat, we didn't want to wait until we returned home for Tarsha to see a vet. As the practice was closed, I decided to message the Strathspey Veterinary Centre Aviemore at 8 am with a view to phoning them at 9 am when they opened. I was pleasantly surprised and thankful that Cameron emailed me back within 20 minutes (before their opening hours) to inform me they would be able to see Tarsha that day 🙏🏻. He sent me a link to register her and a link to book a convenient appointment slot online. So, within 40 minutes or so of first contacting the practice, Tarsha was all booked in. The practice is light and so welcoming. Every member of staff we met was lovely and really helped Tarsha settle. Jo the vet was super helpful and gentle with Tarsha. After a thorough examination Jo, as suspected, diagnosed a UTI and medicine was dispensed accordingly. Can't thank the team enough for getting us in so quickly today; we were so relieved that Tarsha was seen. Thankfully meds have already kicked in. As we visit this area 4 to 5 times every year we're so happy that we have found a vet that we can trust. Would recommend. THANK YOU FROM GAVIN AND TARSHA

Great place for our English Soppy Cat who is not fond of big dogs, appointments seem to be staggered to ensure the waiting room is not too busy. Clean and tidy with background music ~ radio? Not rushed at all. Time given much appreciated. Thank you for this!

So glad that I signed on with Strathspey Vets in Aviemore as soon as we moved to the area. They are a fantastic team. All very welcoming and all go the extra mile. Our dog Ted was once very nervous of going to the vet because of an earlier incident but he loves visiting the Aviemore surgery and sees it as a lovely outing nowadays.

We are on holiday in our campervan & needed a vet to take a quick look at our dog. Strathspey staff were fabulous, a vet came out within 10 minutes & looked at our dog in the van, as he’s a nervous dog. They couldn’t have been more helpful & we would highly recommend them.

We're new to the area and have already visited after Ted the dog hurt himself. I admit I was concerned that this is not an independent vet. However, I am completely won over by the facilities, the expertise of the vets and the lovely welcome we get. When you have an animal that previously had to have sedation to go to the vet and now have a dog who goes in willingly and is relaxed and happy to be examined you know you've made the right choice.
