What pet owners say
Our rescue chow was neutered here today. We brought him to his forever home 2 months ago and were unsure how his first vet visit would be. The vet and nurses were absolutely incredible with him. He was so happy to walk in with the vet so obviously felt very safe and comfortable (apologies i didnt catch his name). The nurse (Lucy I believe) was absolutely amazing, she kept me informed before he was taken down, called when in recovery and gave a very thorough update. Upon collection she talked us through the full procedure and talked through all medication he had had and aftercare procedures. We have a lot of experience with the breed and they gave some amazing feedback regarding the progress he had made with us which was delightful to hear. I highly recommend this veterinary practice. We would definitely be registering here if we lived closer. He is now home and recovering beautifully. We are forever greatful for looking after our boy! Thank you!

Hand on heart the best vets I’ve ever visited in the northeast The vet took time to help me understand what was going on with my dog she wasn’t frightened of him as most are when they come into contact with him and best of all Genuinely seems to like her. Will not be going anywhere else!

A Huge Thank You to Sutterton Vets At the start of this month, I had to say goodbye to my dog Jack. He had kidney failure and just wasn’t himself anymore. He had no energy, no strength, and he wasn’t eating or drinking. I knew I had to put him first and let him go peacefully. From the moment we arrived at Sutterton Vets, the whole team was so kind, respectful, and understanding. They walked us through everything, explaining what they were doing and why, making sure we knew he wouldn’t feel any pain. One of the vets even stayed with my mum and brother to keep them company while my boyfriend and I said our final goodbyes, which meant so much. When we spoke about cremation, I asked if I could keep some of his ashes for a memorial ring, and they were more than happy to help and made sure my request was taken care of, which I really appreciated. When they phoned to say his ashes were ready, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they had handled everything with such care. He was placed in a lovely gift bag, inside was a well-packaged box with his ashes, along with the token ashes for my ring, his paw prints, and a crematorium certificate. It was such a thoughtful way to return him to us. Before we even went to collect him, they sent us a card with a beautiful poem and their heartfelt condolences. It was such a small but meaningful gesture that really showed how much they care—not just for the animals but for the people who love them. I can’t thank Sutterton Vets enough for their kindness and compassion. Losing my best friend was hard, but they made a really painful experience just that little bit more bearable, and I’ll always be grateful for that. If you ever need a vet who truly cares, I can’t recommend them enough.
