What pet owners say
I love the vets here! I feel like they take great care of my cats when they visit. Recently my cat went in for top up vaccines and a quick health check. They found a rotting tooth and at just 2 years old, they suggested we run tests before taking out the tooth to confirm if there’s any genetic issues that would mean more teeth would have to come out. I’m grateful they told me about the tests as I would have been none the wiser, all tests came back fine and one unlucky tooth out. If the tests had came back positive most of his teeth would have to be removed early on in his life, so they would have suggested one big removal to save on costs and stress of the cat.

We switched to sheriffs highway after a bad experience at our previous vets 5 years ago. Our dogs bound into this vets because they genuinely dont feel scared going in there. The reception team are amazing, always make a fuss of my dogs and will always happily answer questions. The vets are probably some of the best in the UK, outstanding every single visit. You can tell a good person by how an animal responds to them and my dogs really like all the vets, they are particularly good at projecting a very calm and relaxed atmosphere while in the consulting room and always have a treat on hand to reward my dogs for being good girls.

I've used this surgery for around 5 years now and won't go anywhere else. The receptionists have always been very friendly, welcoming and polite. The vets are just brilliant with my dogs. They're always very understanding, sympathetic and have given me excellent advice. My dogs recently had a litter of puppies and we kept 3 of them. Sheriffs Highway were just wonderful with them when we brought them in for their first/second vaccinations. The puppies were extremely nervous and unsure what was happening, but the vet and the nurse (Alexis, I think her name was) were amazing with them. They made what I thought was going to be a very stressful trip for our puppies, very pleasant and relaxing. Keep up the excellent work.

Our Athena ate an (almost) entire tub of chewing gum so she had to be taken to the emergency vet. The staff here were so professional, understanding and explained all of our options and costs. We were also regularly updated on what was happening to her in the consultation room. Most importantly they helped save our dog's life - thank you so much we really appreciate all that you did for her!!
