What pet owners say
Back in July my Dog came down with an Illness where he lost all his abilities to walk, bark & eat .we have a Working Cocker spaniel so you can Imagine a dog that bounces on & off the walls to Nothing was quite worrying . After 2 days of going to our Normal Vets in Birmingham. With 2 different dignonises well Day 3 we got referred to Scarsdale vet's & Pride referrals . They were Amazing from the minute we stepped in the door & still ongoing they have all been Amazing from the Reception Staff all the way up to the vets & training vets. They have Saved our little boy. we Still have to bring him back every 3 weeks for his Chemo but if it was left to our own Vets he wouldn't be with us now .

Contacted Scarsdale in a panic this evening about a stray cat that needed treatment. They were so kind and calm on the phone and just as friendly when I got there. I really appreciated this welcome attitude and felt really confident to leave the cat there in their care. So much so, I am going to move my own cats to this vet. Thank you ❤️

Specialists are few and far between, and doggy cardiologists doubly so, I’d imagine, and so the 90 minute drive to get to Scarsdale vets is worth it if only for their expertise. Add to that their obvious love for the animals, wonderful bedside manner and willingness to spend as much time as needed in explaining both diagnosis and prognosis in language as easy or as detailed as you want from them, and seeing our girl into her forage with as much comfort and quality of life as possible is worth the money and the travel.

Fortunately I have never needed the emergency vets service before this week. The administration staff were excellent as were the 3 vets I saw over the course of the day. Easy to find and has an ample car park. Large pet shop on site.

This was first posted 19 months after our Louie needed emergency surgery for a disintegrating disc in his neck. One photo is Lou the DAY AFTER surgery, the next a month later, and one taken about a month ago out in the sunshine. Who would quibble over price to see this handsome fella still doing so well? Thank you X An update : now 5 years on, Louie is still a healthy cocker spaniel in his 15th year, he enjoys his walks, comes trotting for treats and goes up and down stairs 3 or four times a day. I hope the vets and assistant nurses see this to know how much joy they have given us. Sadly, we lost Louie at 16 years old. So he had 6 pain free years after his operation. He gave many people a lot of happiness and we loved and were proud of him ❤️
