Thank you to all the staff at the Southport branch. For all the love and care they gave my little peanut (jack Russell) in her final hours. Thank you for trying to do everything you could for her and letting me come and say goodbye🩷 I will forever be grateful and can’t fault the staff they are amazing

I would like to give 5 stars however having attended all 3 branches of Rufford Vets, I try not to use the Holly Lane office if at all possible. Parking is an absolute nightmare as the clinic is on a tiny dead end residential lane with only 4/5 spaces. Also some of the staff need to be a bit more pleasant, a smile & a greeting wouldn’t go amiss! Lovely staff in Tarleton & Southport - maybe they are just happier in their work, despite the massive pressure that they are under.

Had to bring my puppy in after a bee sting on her face causing alot of swelling. I rang up and they fitted us straight in. Reception staff were lovely and welcoming clinician and vet were also lovely and caring. A vaccination later and she is all better

Hi, I wanted to take the time and thank the team for everything they have done for little Amy our west highland terrier. Amy suffered from pancreatitis and diabetes, which ultimately caused her to go deaf and blind in the final year of her life. She had a few scares along the way, but Mike and the kind nurses gave her the opportunity to bounce back and live a longer comfortable life against all odds with the family she loved close to her 15th birthday. Unfortunately, yesterday (26/02/25) we had to say goodbye to our little furry friend, which was the hardest thing I’ve had to do in my life. Due to her health complications her liver started to fail within a matter of days. Mike kindly came out to stop Amy’s pain and suffering in the comfort of her home. He and the nurse comforted me and my dad as she passed away in my arms. I want to personally thank Mike who supported Amy all these years to live the last of her days happy even though she was scared of needles. Thanks again to the team Rufford Vets Southport.
