What pet owners say
The online booking system is easy to use for routine appointments and clearly advises you to contact the vets immediately rather than wait if your pet is showing certain conditions, which is very reassuring. From the moment you walk into the air-conditioned reception, you're greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. I've never had to wait too long before seeing the vet. The vets always make me feel comfortable, take the time to listen to the reason for my visit, and explain everything clearly. If any further treatment is needed, the costs are discussed and explained in advance, so there are no surprises. Overall, I've always had a positive experience and would happily recommend the practice.

We recently went through a very worrying few weeks with our dog, Nell, and I wanted to take the time to thank everyone at the practice for the care and support she received. A special thank you to Laura Day, who has been absolutely wonderful throughout. Her kindness, professionalism and patience have meant so much to us, and we always felt that Nell was in the very best hands. We are also incredibly grateful to all the other vets who were involved in her care, including the out-of-hours team, as well as the nurses and reception staff. Every single person we dealt with was caring, compassionate and helpful at a time when we were feeling very anxious. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and everyone took the time to answer questions, offer reassurance and genuinely care about Nell’s recovery. Thanks to the dedication of the whole team, Nell is now back to her happy, lively self, and for that we will always be grateful. Thank you again…..you are all amazing 🤩

Rhyd Broughton have been out vets for the last 25 years, caring for our dogs and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone is fantastic and there for you when you need them. Took our little Taz yesterday, he has a heart murmur and hasn't been well this past week. Saw Rory who is a fantastic vet, and we agreed to start Taz on some heart meds. Rory is very kind and caring and always willing to explain everything, you never feel rushed or pushed into doing something you don't want to. I highly recommend this vets.

I regularly visit Rhyd Broughton Vets with my dog, Gracie, who is being monitored for a chronic condition, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care we’ve received. The receptionists are always welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, which makes every visit smooth and reassuring. Dr. Amy Hargreaves has been outstanding throughout—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and ensures we feel confident about Gracie’s treatment and ongoing care. Managing a chronic condition can be stressful, but her support and attention to detail make a real difference. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a compassionate and reliable veterinary team.

Fantastic vets ! I took my spaniel in for routine checkup and nail trim and mentioned we were moving house and our dog was showing signs of anxiety and aggression. We have moved to a rental for a few weeks then moving again to our permanent home. I hadn't considered seeking a remedy, but the nurse recommended a solution which has really worked. I now have a calm and affectionate spaniel, making the upheaval for the whole family more manageable plus a dog no longer suffering. Such a caring establishment. Highly recommended.
