What pet owners say
A little hard to find and parking can be tough but the staff make up for that through their welcoming manners. Lovely split area for cats and dogs. Clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

I did telephone the vets on my return home, to thank the staff and vet for their kindness to my dogs. I am a pensioner, 75 years old, and there are no car spaces in the front of the surgery for disabled only parking. There was a mix up with my appointment, it had been double booked by one of the receptionists, which was annoying, as it delayed my time in the surgery by over thirty minutes.

[I originally gave a 2-star review and updated it after being contacted by Priory Vets - see the update below] Everything about the visit was very good - very kind and helpful vet who examined thoroughly and explained everything as she went along. But to discover I had been sold standard human eye drops for the cat’s conjunctivitis (chloramphenicol 0.5% w/v) available in Boots for £8.99 for £41.11 was a shock! I had bought some for myself a few months earlier which is the reason I knew. I phoned to check if it was a mistake (and give them the option of responding before posting here) but that is their charge. Definitely feel less trusting of returning now and, if I need to, will ensure I question at every step! UPDATE: The practice director sent me a long email very promptly with a sincere attempt to explain the regulations and constraints around veterinary medicines. Although I still don't quite understand or feel it adds up, I updated the rating as - apart from this one issue - they have been very responsive and professional. And FYI if your cat ever has conjunctivitis, you can use human eye drops which you can get free from pharmacies in Wales!!
