What pet owners say
Pride saved my boy from being paralysed for life ❤️ After a freak accident on a Saturday night over the festive period, we were being told we would have to wait until Monday morning by multiple other referral centres for an MRI, let alone any surgery he may need. Our local vet continued to ring around, until finally coming to Pride. They accepted Archie in the early hours of the Sunday morning, and had him assessed by their night vet, set up with pain relief and a catheter, reviewed by a neurologist, MRI scanned, and then in surgery, all within less than 12 hours! Without Pride, the damage would have almost certainly been irreversible by the time anyone saw it, and thus Archie would likely never walk again. We are only 8 days post-op as I write this, but already Archie can wag his tail again, hold his own weight with only balance support, and is moving his back legs with increasing frequency! During his time at Pride, I was kept fully informed and nobody ever made me feel rushed or like a nuisance for asking questions or calling for extra check-ins before bed. Archie was loved on and the team made sure that he didn't feel abandoned. They hand fed him when he wouldn't eat from their bowls, and comforted him when he was afraid. They listened to me when I told them his quirks and fears, and humoured me when I asked them to remind him we would be coming back for him (Archie is a rescue and we are his 4th family, so we worried he would think we had given him up or something). Pride's insurance administrator dealt with everything in terms of finances, meaning we could focus our attention on our boy. We only had to pay our excess and a reasonable admin fee, everything else was organised directly through his insurance by Pride. This was such a relief and made an incredibly scary and stressful time so much more manageable. I couldn't have wished for a better team to look after my boy. I will forever be thankful for them and the second chance they have provided Archie ❤️

I cannot thank the team enough for the incredible care they gave my dog, Alfie, throughout his chemotherapy. From the very first visit, they were compassionate, gentle, and genuinely loving toward him. As a devoted fur mum, I always felt guilty leaving him for such an invasive treatment, but knowing he was being showered with cuddles, love, and even extra snacks made all the difference. The staff were always there to support us—answering every question, helping us manage side effects, and reassuring me on the hard days. Their kindness made an incredibly difficult journey so much easier to navigate. At the end of his treatment, they surprised Alfie with biscuits, toys, and a beautiful certificate that honestly brought me to tears. No fur baby should ever have to go through something like this, but having such a caring and supportive team by our side meant the world. Thank you so much for everything you did for Alfie and for us. Your compassion will never be forgotten.

Our doggo was unfortunately referred with a skin sarcoma and needed surgery. We were warned by our vets it was in a tricky place and surgery may not be possible but a referral could be made. After a great consultation and a CT it was agreed here that it was possible and after a tricky surgery by Dr Alvarez and team our boy has been sorted. He's still recovering but everyone that has looked after him has been amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. We have been made aware of what is happening every step of the way and given the opportunity to sit and comfort our boy during his extended stay. Honestly if you want somewhere that genuinely cares about your animal whilst being extremely knowledgeable then this is the place. Thank you so so so so much for everything you do!

We sadly lost our puppy upon arrival, the care we received from vet Kate was incredible. So grateful we had her warmth, expertise and support. She is an angel!

My cat was referred in emergency, the staff were understanding and caring. She was taken in quickly and had bloods and blood transfusion, as well as xray, ultrasound and bone marrow taken for testing. Very thorough and quick. I'm not a vet but I'd say they saved her life, as I really didn't expect her to come home with severe anaemia, little to no red cells, low white cells and platelets. But because they reacted quickly and tended to her straight away, after a week of everything being done to her, bless her, she's finally home. Yes I sobbed on picking her up, any animal lover would. She will have regular appointments but she's here and that's all that matters. Thank you to all of you for your support and care for Talulla-Eden.
