I saw Vet, Mike Rothwell, at Portland House when I was worried about my dog’s itchy skin. He listened carefully to my concerns, thoroughly examined my dog, and was exceptionally good at explaining the problem to me. The whole experience, from booking online the night before (easily able to choose an appointment slot), being met by friendly receptionists, through to seeing a kind and expert vet who quickly identified my dog’s problem, was very positive. Thank you all for being so kind, helpful and reassuring.

My 11 yr old retrievers first visit to these vets as recently moved to the area. She had to have an emergency spey due to pyometra. The receptionists, nurses and vets that we saw on the several visits were all very friendly, professional and caring. It was such a relief to know my dog was in good hands. And not overpriced. Spotlessly clean and plenty of parking.

First visit to the new premises, I was very impressed from the start, easy and plentiful free parking directly outside, fantastic. Familiar and as always friendly and helpful staff particularly the cleaning lady . Easy disabled entrance. Spacious waiting room and helpful visitor toilet/disabled toilet. The vet was really informative and she and the nursing staff were able to solve my Saint Bernard's issue instantly there and then (Matted back end) and Miska was very happy and calm when she came back into reception, which was important to me. I would highly recommend this practice to other pet owners they have a first rate modern premises and first rate staff and I enjoy the regular and informative emails.
