What pet owners say
Pool House vets were brilliant!! After our doberman picked up a considerable injury on a walk up the woods and after ringing our own vets first, not only did someone actually answer the phone at 9 o'clock at night, they admitted her straight away, were knowledgeable and efficient in what they did keeping us informed of plans and potential issues etc all the way through. After the surgery, they were also very efficient in providing supporting paperwork requires for our insurance claim too which was really appreciated. I couldn't have asked for a better service at a highly stressful time and could not recommend Pool House Vets any higher!

Our dog Hugo recently went to the main Lichfield hospital to undergo a neutering procedure. The vet Magda and veterinary nurse Ellen explained everything from start to finish and took great care of our dear boy, at a time which any pet owner would say feels like a stressful time. Magda called us straight after surgery to reassure us that everything went well and that Hugo was awake. On collection Ellen gave us very thorough discharge advice and we felt supported throughout his entire recovery. Upon all of our visits to Pool House we have found all the staff to be very professional and helpful.

We rang through this evening, 6th July for our Dog Ted. Staff were amazing and got us seen within the hour. The vet on shift really was brilliant. She went through everything with us and was very knowledgeable. If you guys need emergency help out of hours this is the place to go. Again Thank you for your help🙏🙏

My cat Daisy was neutered there. Everything went well, and I would like to point out, how patient and kind the vet staff have been with her due to her semi feral behaviour. The surgery was fine, her wound healed very quickly. I highly recommend this vet hospital to every pet owner. I'm very thankful for their hard work and patience with my beloved cat. ❤️

My first visit to Poole House vets as I was tired of getting nowhere with my current vet. I went to have my dogs claws looked at and whilst waiting my dog had a seizure due to stress in the vets. I asked the receptionist if I could please have a vet see my dog who was very unwell. I didn’t quite expect the receptionist to quickly leave her desk and run to get a vet. Within minutes a vet came out with a nurse and took me to a private room. They were brilliant and calmed Marley down and I didn’t feel rushed to get out the room. Once Marley had calmed down I left and on the way home Marley had another seizure of which I turned round and went back to Poole House. Again the vets saw Marley right away in a private room and gave him the medication I previously had purchased. I was amazed they had meat (Ham) to wrap the tablet in and obviously enjoyed by Marley not knowing a tablet was present. I am not sure of those staff who helped me and Marley but their calmness and reassurance was above and beyond. I have transferred Marley’s records from my current vet to Poole House. An amazing sized hospital with lots of rooms and vets who are on hand to help in emergencies like mine was. A big thank you for your care and consideration for my dog…..and me as I was very concerned for my dog. ❤️
