What pet owners say
We recently moved our horses to a new area and were without a vet when our mare had a premature foal (we named him King). Pool House Equine was recommended to us by White’s Animal Feeds Ltd, and it was a good recommendation. The team didn’t hesitate to make themselves available in our time of need. Although he didn’t survive, the team were extremely knowledgeable and capable, they were compassionate and supportive whilst putting King’s welfare paramount. They definitely lived up to ‘Putting your horse first’. They translated all of the medical jargon into everyday language without needing to be asked, which helped us make informed decision in a timely way. I couldn’t have asked for anything more from them - they took great care of King and closely monitored him the whole time - they were brilliant. Despite there being multiple other emergency admissions last night, this didn’t impact their quality of veterinary care in the slightest. I will be registering my horses with them and using them moving forwards! The whole team were lovely and did a great job - the receptionist and the medical team that came to my farm and those at Pool House Equine (everyone we came into contact with). Thank you so much for everything you done for us and our little King 🙏🏻🐴💗

Great team of vets, looked after my horse and got him through his leg surgery - he’s a happy and pain free lad now. Great team of vets, won’t go anywhere else - trust them with both my boys.

Well what can I say about pool house apart from absolutely exceptional. Danza was rushed in as an emergency colic case. It was late at night, throwing it down with rain but as soon as we pulled up in the car park the vets came running out the help get danza off the trailer as she was trying to go down. They whisked her away for mri . Then Andreas came to explain everything with the other lady vet who was amazing. Prepped for surgery in no time. Rang in the early hours to say how it all went. They rang everyday with an update. The care was amazing. All the staff are so lovely 😍 thank you pool house , you are certainly life savers of which we will be eternally grateful 🙏 x

Absolutely outstanding in every sense of the word. I brought my pony in for emergency eye surgery and was incredibly anxious. The veterinary staff were highly empathetic not only to my pony but also to myself and they have been stellar throughout this process. I have not once had concern about the level of care that my pony received and I was kept informed daily of his progress. If ever I wanted to speak to someone I was treated as priority, my concerns were listened to and understood and the staff did whatever they could to help me feel better. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Every staff member that I've spoken to at Pool House has been friendly, helpful and attentive. It's clear that they all have a huge love for what they do and I noticed all the extra bits of care that they provided for others horses. Stuff that nobody would know if they didn't do but it was done just because they care. With the exception of 2 days I attended every day of my pony's stay. He always had hay, clean bedding and water no matter what time I came. Whatever staff were on duty always spoke to me, made me feel welcome and gave me glowing reports on how he was handling his treatment. I firmly believe that part of the reason he handled it all so well is because of the kindness of the staff. I'm so glad I chose Pool House to be referred to (I had 3 options) because my anxiety about his situation was still there but only out of concern for his prognosis and never for his care and wellbeing whilst with you.

Pony admitted after referral for colic with high temp. Vets waiting when pulled on car park. Excellent facilities, scanners, walk in mri. Vets were thorough. Pony admitted. Stables excellent. Got pony well and didn't cost the earth. Highly recommended
