I honestly cannot thank Christian and the team at Penmellyn, St Columb Major enough for their treatment and care of our cat Merlin who was seriously injured in an RTA. He was in surgery within 24hrs of the accident and at the time it was hard to believe that after 8 weeks he would be back to his former self. The transparency of pricing from Penmellyn was a welcome breath of fresh air. I was convinced that we were going to be charged for lots of extras and sundries but we were billed for exactly what we were quoted. We've been so impressed with the service and care at Penmellyn that we are going to transfer all three of our pets from our current vet to them. Highly recommended!

We used Penmelyn Vets for a follow up appointment for our Labrador to one with our own vets before going on holiday. The service was excellent from registering through to the consultation itself everything was first class. Megan the vet that saw our dog was very thorough and friendly. I had anticipated paying a premium as a visitor but the fee's were extremely competitive. l would thoroughly recommend this practice.

While on Holiday my dog became poorly. We called Penmellyn vets who swiftly took her in. She was examined and the next day booked in for surgery. From the moment we contacted this vets to the finish, we were shown such care, attention and empathy. Not only to our beautiful Bonnie, but to ourselves as well. Bonnie is now fully recovered thanks to the swift attention of the staff at Penmellyn vets. Special thanks to Leah White, Becky Robinson and Nazim Mukadam for taking such excellent care of our beautiful dog Bonnie. Forever grateful ☺️

An absolute jewel in the crown for care given to our 3yr old Golden Retriever Nala . From the first telephone conversation with the referral team to the care given with the shattering news of her Osteosarcoma and requiring a rear leg amputation. The most exceptional surgery performed by Christian and his team and the fabulous support and compassion with the ongoing Chemotherapy given by CJ and his colleagues. What more could we ask for as pet owners , seeking the very best care when faced with the toughest of decisions to be made for those who are so very precious in our lives . Taking a cat to the vets is always a stressful experience for humans and their cats, but Penmellyn have really impressed me with their cat friendly consultations, and allowed my cat to explore the room, and give him his check up in a place that is comfortable for him. Last week, my cat had his annual check up and vaccination appointment and the vet examined him and weighed him on the table, and then allowed him to explore the room before vaccinating him on the floor. Really happy with how Gizmo was treated, even though he squeaked his way though the consultation!
