What pet owners say
The practice looked after my Archie so well when he had a very rare brain tumour. Unfortunately, I had no option but to put Archie to sleep. We had a special waiting area given to us so we got some time with him alone. They made him as comfortable as possible and he went with dignity and in peace. It was the kindest thing to do. Losing my dog was - and still is - beyond devastating. Everyone was so good to us and I will be forever grateful. I've attached some photos of Archie in happier times. Thank you to the team at Park Vets who looked after him from his arrival in our lives to the very end. Thank you to the team for being so supportive on what was one of the most terrible and wrenching days in our lives as a family.

My young cat is currently a regular for an on going condition and all staff always so friendly towards me and so good with my cat. They are always easy to reach out to if I have any questions via e-mail which makes me feel very at ease if I have any worries in between appointments.

Rachel Hewish
We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Rachael, our veterinary nurse, and I honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough. We visit with our senior cat, who has quite a history of being very fiery and feisty in his younger years, but has now grown into a more timid old boy who can get quite anxious during visits. From the very first appointment, Rachael has been incredibly understanding of his temperament and has taken the time to approach him in a calm, patient and gentle way that immediately puts him more at ease. We’ve now seen her twice for general check-ups and advice on how best to support him in his older years, particularly around dental care, ear health and managing joint stiffness and discomfort. On both occasions, she has been exceptionally attentive and thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly and giving us really practical, thoughtful advice that we can actually use day to day at home. What really stands out is the way she doesn’t just focus on the clinical side of things, but also the emotional experience for both pet and owner. She makes us feel listened to and supported, and more importantly, she helps our old boy feel far calmer and more secure during what would normally be a stressful experience for him. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the animals she works with, and that kindness shines through in everything she does. We always leave feeling reassured, better informed, and grateful that he’s in such good hands. Rachael has made such a positive difference to our visits, and we’re very thankful for her ongoing care and support.

Fantastic practise, staff are lovely. Fixed my boy after a fox bite, can not fault or complain at all.

The ladies at park vets have always been amazing with my extremely anxious westie! Nala suffers from skin issues which can be extremely expensive but they are always trying to help me find the most cost effective solution. The ladies at reception are always very welcoming and extremely accommodating finding me a late appointment when it’s a little quieter for my girl - which helps massively with her anxiety! Thank you to the whole team!
