What pet owners say
A gem of a place, from the moment you go in they're so friendly and professional. They took their time to talk and explain everything about my dog, it wasn't a rushed appointment and most importantly they took time to get to know Charly. It's 5 woofs from us! 😁🦮

Lovely staff from the first phone call as a new client, to the extremely thorough consultation and plan for my vulnerable , elderly cat. The first girl I spoke with tried every avenue to help me after my little cat went blind under another vets. She understood my concern abd was sympathetic to my boy's needs. The male vet we saw was wonderful. Calm, understanding of an upsetting, new situation and willing to help me get the best care plan in place. He explained exactly everything that was happening and we were not rushed out of a door. I am so very grateful to Oaks Vets for everything they've done for us in only one visit. Many thanks to everyone who helped me. I apologise for not remembering names.

Unfortunately I had to phone with an emergency however staff were very helpful and I was given appointment for an hour later. Reception staff are extremely friendly. Vet was very thorough and very warm towards my very scared cat. Can’t say same for other branches but Saltcoats are excellent.

We have had an ongoing issue with dog allergy and our vet Stephen Lamont has been exceptional to deal with. He provides clear, concise information in a friendly manner with the focus on the pet's welfare. All vet treatment is expensive but it is easier to accept what you are paying for when it is clear that your vet's priority is your pet.
