Excellent experience today at Moorview Shiremoor & Backworth. Frank the Border Terrier is my first ever pet & this was my first experience of a poorly Frank. Booked on line appointment before the vets opened, was seen on time. Detailed assessment & explanation of way forward. Booked for further appointment later that morning at Backworth & again everything explained & discussed. Frank has a distinct dislike of the Vet & the team were really understanding about this. Frank has on going care and again all explained, planned and future appointments made. Thank you Vets x 2 the nurses x 2 & the lovely reception staff for yesterday. I now have a improving but grumpy Frank who can’t seem to get his head around why he has a bald patch on his side

First time at this practice, saw a lovely vet called Ruth, didn’t feel rushed, felt like she had time for our boy, couldn’t fault her one bit. Reception very spacious and airy, nice friendly staff on the desk too. Highly recommended

Very friendly reception staff, helpful, supportive and caring vets. A very good plan for your pets to support with costs and very easy to get to. Booking an appointment is very simple and the reception is a decent size to accommodate a number of different animals

Family Awesome
We took our very poorly pooch here after he ate a rat poison block . They were kind and helpful from start to finish . We even had a much needed coffee whilst we waited for the pooch to be seen too at reception . Clean and clear area large enough for sitting with multiple dogs / pets . Staff were super friendly and the aftercare was superb .
