I cannot recommend Isle Veterinary Group Limited highly enough. The vets and the whole team are incredibly kind, professional and compassionate. They truly go above and beyond to accommodate not only the needs of the pet, but also the concerns of the owner. Visiting the vet can be stressful, especially when your pet is frightened or unwell, and sometimes the owner feels just as anxious. The team at Isle Veterinary Group always make you feel listened to, valued and reassured. They take the time to explain everything clearly, answer questions with patience, and show genuine care throughout. It is clear that everyone there is passionate about animal welfare and committed to providing the best possible support. Their kindness and understanding make such a difference, and I am very grateful for the care they provide.

We have always found the practice highly competent at both diagnosis and treatment of our dogs’ health issues. They have looked after three of our golden retrievers over some 20 years and one lived to be 3 weeks short of 17 years old!

We tried this vets in 2020/2021 after a very poor experience with another vets closer to home. The care and compassion we, and our dog, received was brilliant. I truly cannot fault them. We had an emergency visit a year or so after that and they were wonderful with him, and then in the past year we had to go back in order to keep him comfortable in his old age. Each vet we saw explained our options clearly, were so kind and gentle with our old boy and made him feel as “at ease” as they could. In January of this year it came time to have him PTS. We had the last appointment of the day, on a Saturday, and the staff were wonderful. The room was ready for him when we arrived, they explained everything, we did all the paperwork first so that after that we could just focus on our final moments with our best boy. We didn’t once feel rushed, once they had administered the medication they left the room and told us to take as much time as we needed. They allowed us to bring our younger dog in to try and help him understand why his buddy wasn’t coming home. We stayed past their closing time, and again, did not feel rushed once. It’s a truly awful experience having to say goodbye, and they completely understood that. I cannot thank them enough for making it as easy as they could for us. They sent a condolence card with forget-me-not seeds, which are now planted in his favourite spot in the garden. We chose to have him cremated so we could bring him home, and when I went to collect him, the keepsakes we had chosen were perfect, and even just the way they handled his urn/box was gentle and respectful. We live even further away now, about 45 minutes, and unless it was a time sensitive emergency… would chose Isle Vets every single time
