Rupert Bear has become a regular at Highgate, We already had history with them when they saved our rabbits life who sadly passed away last year. But since getting our kitten who was only 5 weeks old at the time, they have been absolutely fantastic!! Rupert went to get neutered with them and they kept us updated with all prices before hand and rang multiple times through out the day. It turned out our kitten has a very rare genetic condition and the vets have told us he's one in a million. Due to only getting him as a 5 week old his social skills and behaviour are none existent and terror some, plus he eats everything and anything! Including Plants!! So on this occasion he had eaten Sweat Pea flowers and gotten an upset stomach. The vets were fantastic as always, and asked us if we would consider upgrading his basic care plan to premium for an extra £10 a month which includes free consults! Considering we spend so much time there already we agreed! The vet told us it wouldn't activate that day but it turns out it did saving us a £70 bill! Were now on first name basis and they all love seeing my Teddy Bear, even the Receptionists know who he is!! These vets are not in it for the money, they are in it because they love animals! We've since had a letter saying the practice is changing hands but care will remain the same and hopefully it will, we moved from our last vets as they became greedy with money and bumped all their prices up, so hopefully this vets will remain the caring people they are instead of seeing £ signs.
