Today could have ended very differently for our family, but thanks to the incredible kindness of one of the vets from this practice, it didn’t. Our dog went missing this morning and it was a very stressful couple of hours not knowing where she was. By pure luck, one of the vets from this surgery found her and went completely out of her way to help. Rather than simply leaving her or passing her on elsewhere, she personally took the time and effort to bring our dog all the way back to the practice so they could scan her and track us down as the owners. That level of care, compassion and initiative says everything about the people who work here. It would have been very easy to do the minimum, but she chose to go above and beyond to make sure our dog got home safely. We are incredibly grateful. Those two hours felt like a lifetime for me and our family, and because of her kindness our dog is back where she belongs. Thank you so much for what you did today. It meant the world to us. Despite not being registered at Hallam Vets, they allowed us to come in for an emergency appointment over the weekend. The vet was extremely kind, took her time checking our cat Misty and talking us through the issues, then prescribing medicine. They definitely helped relieve a lot of stress! Absolutely outstanding vets! They saved our dogs life last night by performing life saving surgery at such last minute! We took our chihuahua down at 5pm last night not really expecting the worst, however her illness ended up being the worst possible outcome after multiple test etc. therefore there was no other option than to perform emergency surgery. She was rushed down for surgery about 6:44pm and we got to bring her home at 8:30pm. We had such a whirlwind of an evening but Hallam Vets made everything possible and reassured us every single step of the way! I cannot sing the team’s praises enough! Hannah is the surgeon we have been dealing with; Hannah is extremely knowledgeable, professional and very proactive! and I cannot thank her (and her team) enough for performing the surgery on our little dog last night! I will forever be thankful to Hallam vets! Amazing veterinary practice ran by amazing people. Thank you!

The vet I usually see is Philip Tricklebank. He is very gentle with my dog. He doesn’t rush and explains things clearly. I have every confidence in his ability to treat my pet. Other staff at the practice are polite and friendly too.

My chihuahua is registered at this vet’s and also has a pet plan but today during an emergency they really did pull out all the stops helping my little boy! I can’t thank you enough - you are all amazing even the receptionist who held my poorly boy while I tried to park. Your all super hero’s, thank you so much xx
