I cannot thank the team at Gordon Vets enough for the kindness, compassion and urgency they showed when my beloved cat Bo became seriously unwell on the very day I was due to fly on holiday. Having only recently moved to the area, I was incredibly anxious and upset when I made that first worried phone call — but from the very beginning, the team immediately understood the seriousness of the situation and the difficult circumstances surrounding it. I felt listened to, reassured and supported right away. A very special thank you to Lewis, who was absolutely wonderful with Bo. He was so calm, gentle and incredibly tuned into him, recognising immediately that Bo was in pain and treating him with such compassion and care. In such a stressful moment, Lewis gave me complete confidence that Bo was in the very best hands. What touched me most was the level of care and thoughtfulness shown beyond the immediate treatment itself. Lewis even made arrangements to ensure Bo was safely transferred and cared for at another veterinary practice later that day so he could be collected safely whilst I was away. That kindness and professionalism meant the world to me. Bo has since gone on to receive further treatment and is doing so much better, and I will always be incredibly grateful for the care, empathy and reassurance we received from everyone at Gordon Vets during what felt like a frightening emergency. Took this old girl in yesterday for nails, glands and lump checks. Lovely friendly staff, great with my grumpy girl Suzie. Always come away feeling that Suzie gets the best care from these guys. Quick appointment slot, no unexpected extras on the bill and genuine interest in Suzie, what I mean by that is the vet talked away to Suzie, she could see she was anxious and took her time. Thumbs up for service, from friendly reception staff to kind vet and nurse. Thank you from Suzie and her mum x
