What pet owners say
I'm not sure how good the new vets are. When I first started using Gladstone over 10 years ago, I had the utmost confidence in the two vets running the practice. It feels like there have been quite a number of different vets since which questions my confidence in them. Saying that, all staff are friendly and professional.

Great vets, been taking my cats here for years though there do seem to be lots of different vets now and I don’t know many of them. Last visit vet was awesome, very kind and supportive with my nervous cat, and the vet nurses are always amazing.

We've been bringing our cat here since he was a kitten and he's always received excellent care. Recently he's needed several appointments for eye and GI issues and all the staff have been wonderful. The vet who examined our cat for both issues was so gentle, thorough and kind and our cat responded so well thanks to his care. We've also seen several vet nurses and they have always looked after our cat wonderfully. I would also like to thank the lady on reception who sourced an emergency appointment for us with a sister surgery, on a Saturday morning when Gladstones was fully booked. Brilliant service.

Had to use the out of hours service and they were great , she was too poorly to transfer to our normal vets so they took on my little scoob gave her an op and she is sat her right now getting better. They saved her life and I’m ever so greatfull x best staff I’ve ever known THANK YOU YOU WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND.

My family has been with Gladstone Vets since 2001 when I had my first dog at age 7. Fast forward to 2025, we're all grown up and still using the same clinic! They've always been fantastic with every animal we've had, never once had a bad experience. They are the genuinely the nicest people, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff on reception. Great with helping me handle my first insurance claim ~ Warm welcome as you come in, clean space, accessable toilet, there's a separate cat waiting area in the corner with blankets to place over the carrier if they should need it. Saved my cat when she had pyometra a few years ago, in which they were extremely fast acting from when I had taken her in. No delay, her emergency was acted on the same day. I had recently had made an appointment for a check up on a lump I'd found on her, Frithjof was thorough in the examination and cleared it as lipoma. Listened to any other concerns I had, then finished with general health check. This is where he discovered a heart murmur which I was completely unaware of, which was investigated over the next couple of appointments. Following that, I was given a full breakdown of what was found during the arranged scan. Using a model of the heart, he gave me a detailed explanation of each area affected and what that could lead to further. The appropriate course of treatment was arranged, which again was fully explained, recommendations of how to administer medication and spoke about aids which are on the market available to help this. Frithjof was really lovely with my cat, extremely kind and caring. An outstanding vet, couldn't rate him higher. Bottom note: They always deliver a five star service, everyone is really lovely and the pets are handled with both sincere kindness and professional tailored care. Fully transparent, no hidden costs, they let you know everything from the get go! I wouldn't go anywhere else for vet care even if you paid me! Thank you Gladstone! =)
