Gatehouse is a fantastic vets. They were recommended by family who have always been very happy with their services. Recently we got a kitten who was much younger than advised and he became very unwell and almost died from a virus. New to the area and our 17 year old cat developed kidney failure and cognitive problems. Not wanting to prolong her distress I made that hard decision. Explained the situation to the very helpful receptionist and she booked the procedure for 2 pm. By 2.20 it was all over, in a very peaceful, calm and dignified way. 2 days later I have Ebony home in a beautiful curled up cat casket. Thank you all for caring.🖤

The veterinary surgeon Amelia was professional polite, showed genuine care for our cat Maui. Explained everything clearly and informatively regarding his dental procedure and aftercare. Both nurses we saw, Kay and Rachel again could not have been nicer. Again very professional caring and loving towards our cat. Would certainly recommend them without hesitation. The surgery handled our Pet plan insurance claim very swiftly with claim submit and paid in 9 days very impressed. Thank you all for the care and expertise we have received. One happy cat. 😺
