I have used Downland vets for many years. The staff are friendly and most even remember my pets name as soon as I walk through the door. The vets are very caring and explain everything. My only wish would be more permanent vets. Over all very good

All staff were extremely kind and welcoming, the practice feels friendly and less “corporate” than some. After genuinely feeling I could lose my Labrador in the morning, he was admitted for the day and by the evening he was full of life and back to his old self. Thank you to a really incredible team, you treated my boy with such kindness and worked wonders, you’re a credit to the profession.

Had great first visit with new puppy, Molly. Time was taken to let her settle and she was greeted with so much warmth and friendliness - so was a really positive visit. I left downland vets today. From 16th December 2024 my nightmare began. My dog was insured up to 3000 pounds. She was admitted to downland on the 16th, where they operated. She had developed a uteris infection, was told the op, and meds would come to 3,200. But it wasn't, insurance paid up to 2,777 pounds. I topped it up to 3000 and paid a further 300 pounds. But it never ended, every week they demanded more money, today the 6th Jan 2025 I paid, hopefully the last 82.26 to them. Anyone thinking of insuring your dog, be sure to cover the dog for at least 20,000 pounds. For peace of mind. Huckleberry vets I strongly recommend.
