Annual check-up for our Flatboat in her 10th year. Vet thought she was about 5yrs old which is a common assumption when meeting this dog. Good physical examination and discussion followed. Annual vaccination cover administered. Examination of a small lump was followed by a needle extraction of fluid examined immediately which seemed to be a high fat content and therefore not likely to be dangerous at present. Weight management discussed. Our Flatboat Retriever is a 'large dog' and about 2lbs overweight due to the recent very hot weather restricting activity. Something to monitor to keep muscles toned. Physio' contact provided informally. No complaints from me on any front. The Vet's computer might like to stop continuing reminding you of when to make your annual appointment after you have already made it a month before (?!). Otherwise good.

Receptionists were extremely helpful and made an appointment for me to see a vet the same morning. Vet was highly professional, kind and friendly. She was extremely knowledgable and resolved the problem that day explaining the treatment throughout the consultation. I felt reassured and my dog is now on the mend. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you.

It’s always a worry when your pet is poorly while on holiday and what to do for the best. I rang on Monday morning and they managed to fit Stanley in later the same day. We were so grateful to get him seen so quickly. The lady vet was brilliant and explained the choices we had. In the end we left Stanley with them for a few hours for a minor procedure - grass seeds in his ears! We picked him up later in the evening with lots of advice for his aftercare and were reassured that if he was feeling too much pain we could take him back. The cost of treatment was made clear to us and came within the expected range. A happy dog on holiday - we are now registered so will use them again if needed as we holiday here several times a year. Would highly recommend - very caring and compassionate - the staff were all fantastic X. Woof Woof from Stanley X
