I thought my request was unusual, but Companion Vets saved the day! A 12-year old stray Tomcat we have looked after for 2 years was being challenged by younger & stronger Tomcats and was wandering. I decided he needed neutering (& microchipping) to enable a comfortable & safe housecat retirement. To ensure I had him on the day, I had to keep him in and book the neutering asap (as he wanted to go out), and Companion Vets offered 3 working-days later. Also, transporting him was a problem as I decided too risky trying to get him in a catbox, so a 3'x2'x2' dog carrier was necessary. That meant I needed an estate-car taxi, availabilty limited, but Companion Vets understood and were flexible with arrival time. They allowed just one visit too (some want 'health checks' to register), and accepted me saying he is fit & well (some want tests before anaesthetics for a 'senior' cat). Excellent handling of me and him on the day. Superb. Thank you Companion Vets.

At the Companion Vets at Balderton Newark, My 2 cats are treated extremely well. All the staff are very welcoming and love the animals. I would recommend this vets to anyone.

Both the vet & the nurse were lovely, we didn’t feel rushed at all, they talked us through everything. Checked all 3 animals over thoroughly, gave us lots of advice, listened to my concerns etc. very lovely practice
