The most amazing practice. The vets are genuinely invested in the welfare of our pets and go above and beyond to ensure they are receiving the best treatment and care. The services are reasonably priced and great value for the level of care and aftercare provided. The vets are engaged and ask lots of questions about our pet’s general health and provide advice and care beyond all expectations. The reception staff are lovely and you can tell they truly love working with animals. Could not recommend enough - I’d never take my pets anywhere else.

Have used Clare Vet for heading towards three decades. Our last family dog Xander was nearly 19 and Clare Vet was fairly faultless that is why I've always been happy for Pepsi, now 12 years to journey to Ballyclare from Belfast on the few occasions surgery required (annual booster in Cavehill). It came as a huge surprise this year that booster/consultation had nearly doubled in price then when arranged recommended surgery have had to pay out a further £620 (same surgery two years ago was roughly half this price). No doubt this is a national scandal, following the American way of ruthless profiteering. I feel for those who just simply couldn't afford these sorts of costs and have to make heartbreaking decisions, and remember pet insurance is hugely overpriced with massive excesses so it is not the answer either. It is a real shame that a once faultless, family and animal centric business has been cannibalised for excessive profiteering - my summary therefore is simple this a profit centric business, no doubt with staff who do their best and care for animals but there is simply no justification for such charges but they know our pets are our family and we'd give anything for them. I am thankful for how they treated Pepsi today and consider her to have been in the best of hands and I'm not delusional that it's not the same elsewhere - it just does not make it right.

Floyd was very poorly we thought he had something stuck in his throat phoned the vet said to call up right away Turned out had a bad throat infection got injection was great on way home great vets and really friendly staff

Excellent service at Clare vet clinic. My dog was in a lot of discomfort and they got me an appointment within a few hours. Vet was fantastic with the dog and explained what was happening and options. Reasonable costs to m comparison to other vets I’ve used. Over all very impressed and will definitely use again.
