What pet owners say
I have been attending this surgery for the past eight years on very regular occasions and have always been satisfied with the professional care and attention that my dog has received. The waiting room is always clean and tidy with plenty to learn from the notices on the walls which change regularly. The reception staff have been there for as long as I can remember and they are most efficient and friendly to both me and my dog, dealing with our bookings, prescriptions and healthcare policy. So so nice to deal with. Catherine, the vet, has been our main vet over the years and she has diagnosed, treated and occasionally referred our dog to specialists in the most professional and efficient manner, keeping thorough notes of the various ailments. She has always given an estimate of the cost of treatments and made us aware of cost saving schemes that are available. Most importantly she is competent, kind and compassionate when examining my GSD. She listens to us and involves us in decision making often with options available to choose from. What more could you want? The other resident vets have been good too. Every four weeks we attend the small animal osteopath, Sharon, at the surgery. Another delightful experience. I pride myself on having a dog who walks well on lead. There are two exceptions, firstly going into a pub from the car park and secondly the mad dash into Sharon’s consulting room down the corridor. He can’t wait to get on the mattress. As an older dog with arthritis and occasional inflammation flare ups, he is kept comfortable and mobile with these sessions with hands on treatment, healing rays and advice on daily living and training having first in the early days done a thorough examination and research of the issues in conjunction with the vet. My dog would not be enjoying his life as much as he does without the help and support he gets from Catherine and Sharon. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We use Bishops vets for our cats and our dog. The reception staff and the vets are all amazing. Our cat Poppy was recently there for a dental and I have no doubt she was well cared for. Evie our cockerpoo loves going there she gets so excited and has to be stroked by everyone. I wouldn’t go anywhere else with my animals.

Not my vet but my Daschund was treated as an urgent referral here for a fox bite while visiting my daughter. The vets and nurses were superb and my dog is well on the road to recovery. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

This vet practice has gone above and beyond for us and our beloved dog, they've been really helpful throughout the whole process, reassuring us when we were very stressed. All the nurses, vet and receptionists have been so lovely and helpful, helping us understanding what is going on and always putting our minds at ease when we had questions and concerns. Amazing communication with us throughout it all, and even with the ongoing vet appointments, explaining everything really well when we struggled to understand what was happening. I can't thank you all enough for everything you have done, Pepper absolutely adores all of you and always goes in happy and tail wagging and it's so reassuring after having bad experiences elsewhere. 🩷
