What pet owners say
The most lovely vets I have ever been to, we recently switched vets to the Rosemary lodge and it has been the best decision we have ever made, our last vets ignored my senior dogs deteriorating tooth condition for months, when they finally acknowledged it they were going to charge over £2000, and were very rushed in addressing our concerns however the Rosemary lodge was the exact opposite, we brought our dog here for an initial tooth assessment and they were absolutely brilliant, they spent time explaining to us that our old dog needed a tooth extraction surgery, we were obviously very anxious because he is an old dog but the vet was so informative and instantly helped address any concerns, I was left feeling happy and confident that he was in the right hands, came to the day of the surgery, the anaesthesiologist was very kind, caring and again informative, she was lovely to our dog. After the surgery we picked him up and it was very clear he had been very well cared for during the surgery and after, he had a little walk around in the small enclosed garden outside and seemed very happy. I cannot express how happy I am with this vets and the level of care they provided for our little boy at a reasonable price that was affordable (unlike our last vets) thank you Rosemary vet lodge and all staff that make it the beautiful place that it is

After an awful phonecall regarding an emergency visit from another well known vets in Bath, we tried Rosemary Lodge. The lady on the phone was much more sympathetic and took time to talk to me. All staff were amazing. Although the care was passed on to OOH service, the staff that were there this evening were so compassionate and caring. Thank you all 🙏

Having used the Rosemary Lodge practice for almost 20 years now, I can attest that all of the staff - from the receptionists to the vetinary surgeons - are extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and absolutely professional. Our dogs are like our children, and you wouldn't send a child to a surgery if you didn't KNOW they were the best. Unfortunately, I have to knock off a point for the recent changes over the last few years. With VetsNow as the separate provider for vetinary cars out-of-hours, we have experienced significant friction (as well as doubled insurance claims, admin costs, and other fees on top) with having care clearly communicated between the out-of-hours provider and Bath Veterinary group. As a result, the out-of-hours offering is significantly less attractive than it used to be. Further, we are fortunate to have good insurance, but do not be surprised to find yourself shelling out a lot of cash with the new upfront costs policy where any veterinary bills (including those under insurance) under £250 are payable upfront and you must file an insurance claim yourself. Overall, you won't find better vets within the county in terms of in-house capabilities for x-rays, surgeries, and all sorts of other procedures. You may upfront for some things, but you never had to worry about extortionate referral fees and you will have the peace of mind that your pet is under the best care available. Thanks to all the staff at Rosemary Lodge in particular for many years of consistently outstanding veterinary care.

We've been with Rosemary Lodge for 8 years and recently visited with 2 of our ratties. Received the required medication and also was offered a booked phone call with a Veterinary Nurse who is a Rat guru to help with introductions of new baby ratties 😃 Felt this was above and beyond. Just wish there was a health club for rats 🙏
