I would highly recommend Avondale Vets. We recently transferred our 5 cats and 1 dog to them and they have been brilliant! You don't feel rushed, they take the time to understand any concerns you have with your pets. The staff in reception are so welcoming and friendly. We recently saw Matthew Chapman for our annual vaccinations for our cats and to discuss some concerns we had with one of our cats. Matthew was great. Took his time to listen and understand what was going on. He was great with both of the cats and very gentle and put them at ease. Great people who love animals 😊

Brilliant vet practice, very proactive and accommodating and sense of real compassion for my cat. One of the vets was admirably defusing a client's ridiculous issue with having to pay for a medication without a heads up that a cost would be incurred, he clearly must have thought the NHS had expanded into the small animal vet sector. Bravo for staying professional in such an unreasonable situation.

Avondale..what can I say. Love them all to bits. Friendly, helpful, dogs adore them, can’t wait to get inside when we arrive. We won’t talk about costs, because, well, it’s never going to be cheap. Reminder texts a week before and on the day of the appointments are helpful.They also have good facilities. Parking. WC .good sized waiting room with dedicated cat space.
