Can’t speak highly enough of Avondale Vets. They quite literally saved one of my dogs lives recently and if it wasn’t for their outstanding care she wouldn’t be with us today. All the staff are warm and friendly. The vets are so knowledgeable and kind. They really do treat your pet like their own and it’s so reassuring at an otherwise scary time.

Great practice kind happy staff very clean environment with a large reception area a selection of toys to buy for your pet.We chose this practice as it’s a 20 minute drive away through the country relaxing and calm and the parking is brilliant didn’t want to choose a vets that was smelly and cramped and parking was an issue there is also a lovely cafe and outdoor clothing shop to visit.

Book an app to have my car vaccinated, reasonable price, excellent staff and a wonderfully hospitable reception. Clearly a well run rural practice and the only issue I have is whether to move my pet permanently to this practice. Ps they had safe spaces for cats!!! 11/10

My poor old lab was having seizures and had taken very unwell over the covid lockdown, her old vet refused to see her at all insisting they could only see her to put her down and told me that's exactly what I should do! They even refused her the repeat prescription she relied on for pain because they needed to see her to renew the prescription (insert facepalm here) . Avondale look after my mums horse and agreed to take her on something the other local vets refused to do. One appointment later she went from no quality of life, suffering and having to be put to sleep, to bounding around like a pup (for brief periods...she's still old) and the tail was a wagging again. One check up and a change in medication and my girl and our hearts were saved for a good few months at least. We managed a trip to the beach, somewhere she hadn't been well enough to visit in 2 years, she was well enough to join us on holiday again and we are so grateful for all the extra fun she's been able to have because of Avondale. If anything this pandemic has shown those who truly care about the welfare and care of animals. Happily make the journey to see the team and have them look after my girl. Long may my old girl continue to drive me nuts :) 😃 thanks again ladies 💜
