What pet owners say
We are incredibly grateful for the compassionate and dedicated care provided to our cat Miumiu by the team of Ashleigh Veterinary Centre and especially Dr. Nikoleta. Throughout a difficult time, they went above and beyond to ensure Miumiu received the best care while offering us support. Every interaction with the clinic showed their genuine care for both pets and their families.

Well... what can I say about Ashleigh vets... there really are not enough words to describe how brilliant they are I was first recommended Ashleigh by a friend of mine in 2023. I had been using my local vets for a few years and was never satisfied that they were giving me the best advice. I took my cat Snowball for a number of different issues and we never really got to the bottom of his ailments but it was costing me so much money with no results. I made an appointment with Ashleigh Vets Sale, the reception staff were really friendly and helpful and made me feel so welcome when I attended the first appointment. I then never looked back. I have visited the Chorlton and Sale branch but Sale was our preferred location because it is feline only and the environment is so calm and peaceful. Snowball was always so calm waiting for his appointments. However both branches have been so good with us both. The vets at the Chorlton branch saved Snowballs life last year when not long after his dental he was having breathing difficulties, I rushed him back and he was put onto Oxygen all weekend whilst they tried to find out what was wrong. A couple of days later Snowball had a heart scan and he was diagnosed with Heart Failure with a prognosis of 6 months 😔 we put him on medication that he would need twice a day. I had never had a cat that required medication before so I was very nervous but all of the staff at Ashleigh and the Heart Clinic were really supportive and reassuring. Snowball did fantastic on the heart meds and I had him almost a year from diagnosis. Unfortunately it wasn't the heart failure that took him, he had sadly been diagnosed with nasal Squamous Cell Carcinoma at the end of 2023. Nikoleta referred Snowball to North West Veterinary Hospital in Runcorn for Electrochemotherapy. This is something I would highly recommend if you can afford this for your pet and if the Cancer is in its early stages. Snowball had 2 treatments of ECT, in hindsight I think the 2nd treatment was too late to make any difference but I had to try... This is my first experience of being a cat parent to a cat who had lots of issues in the last year of his life. Throughout the whole process everybody involved shown nothing but compassion and love to myself and Snowball. Everybody fell in love with him and it made me such a proud cat Mum 🥰 Zoie and Nikoleta have been so supportive, not only as a client but as a friend, especially when I had to sadly make the decision to let him go peacefully at the end of June 💔 this was utterly heartbreaking but with the help and support from Nikoleta and Zoie I knew I was making the right decision for Snowball and that it was the kindest thing for him 😪 they allowed me the time and space to come to terms with the situation and were there when I felt ready. When im ready for a new companion I will be definitely be registering Ashleigh. I know they offer the best care and expertise. I highly recommend Ashleigh to all of my family and friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our 18 month old cat went in for neutering and a microchip. We only had to pay £10 due to low income under the charity Cats Protection. First time visit and it is lovely. It’s a cats only vet and is very small and cozy; we were there for a 9am appointment and it was incredibly calm and quiet with only 2 other people there. Lovely decorations on the wall, cute pictures of customers’ kitties, informative posters, and free tea and biscuits/ chocolates whilst waiting. The nice little touches like the soothing classical music and the free blankets to put over your cats cage to calm them really make this place special. The lady on reception was super friendly and approachable, very helpful and just overall lovely to talk to. Would recommend this place! Very shocked that it was all only £10 especially since they had to make more than one incision as one testicle had not dropped and they had to go in the groin area, couldn’t find it and then found it in the abdomen, so I’m really surprised it didn’t cost us extra! Our boy wouldn’t take the cone so they put him in his one of those compression suit things to stop him biting his stitches. They gave us instructions and some pain meds for the next 3 days. Very happy with the service and little kitty seems understandably tired but is okay and healthy.
