We recently had our much loved but extremely poorly cockatiel (Smokey) to Ashleigh vets as an emergency although they aren’t our normal vets they fitted us in straight away. He was seen and admitted overnight by vet Aidan who has been amazing. Our consultation was thorough and ultimately life saving. We are now home on medication and hopefully heading in the right direction in recovering from a nasty infection. Thank you so much to the amazing team there especially Aidan!

Called up on Thursday concerned for one of my chickens, CJ. The receptionist checked with the vet and offered an appointment for the next day and to call back if she deteriorated. Came to the appointment and was seen by Vet Mariah, she gave CJ a thorough examination and discussed a treatment plan and let me know the costs during the consultation. CJ was taken for blood test and sent home with treatment; as promised Mariah called back with the results later in the day. CJ has already perked up and we are hopeful for a full recovery. I feel confident knowing that I have a practice to take my birds to. Many thanks to all the team.

We were able to get a same day appointment for our poorly pet rat, she was seen to with great care and patience which we really appreciated as she can be quite scared and timid of new people and spaces. Her issues were explained well and we were given appropriate diagnosis and medication to care of her at home. Second time visiting and I’d really recommend, especially if you have an ‘exotic’ pet as there’s not that many places for them in Manchester.

We took our guinea pigs in for a same day appointment and we were seen by Lourdes. She was great the piggies and very informative about next steps and how to help with their diet. The staff on a whole were very reassuring during a stressful time and kind. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent vets! I saw the exotic pet specialist, he was super patient, compassionate, professional, and efficient. He explained and demonstrated how to give our budgie the meds, which was a massive help. The price is also really reasonable. Highly recommend this practice 👌
